Supply cable is provided for connection to the fixed wiring of the premises via a suitable double pole isolating switch. Besides the convector heaters, storage heaters and the combi heaters from Dimplex, there is a large variety of Dimplex oil filled radiators, like the Dimplex OFX range below. The Dimplex oil filled radiators are suitable for both domestic and commercial premises, providing a balance of convected and radiant heat, just  like a conventional radiator, but with the added advantage of ‘plug-in’ portability. With a totally enclosed heating element, the design is very safe, reliable and the heater does not dry the air like some convection or radiant heaters.

Dimplex heater: combination of storage and convector heaters, the CXL/CXLS range

This range of heaters from Dimplex offers many of the benefits of the popular manual and automatic storage Dimplex heaters but with the addition of a built in top-up convector heater which  provides an independent heat source to supplement stored heat in severe weather, or as the sole heating if heat is required unexpectedly – for example in spring or autumn.

The Dimplex CXLS models incorporate the Dimplex Twin Sensor® automatic charging system, ensuring the correct charge is taken regardless of changing weather conditions without the need for user adjustments, and complying with Building Regulations Part L1, which requires all electric storage heaters installed in new build to be fitted with automatic charge controls.

By providing two heaters in one compact case, the Dimplex range of CXL/CXLS saves space, and its smooth curved styling complements XL storage heaters and PLX panel heaters. The top up convector requires its own electrical supply, has full thermostatic control and frost protection facility.

The Dimplex CXLS heaters range features automatic charge regulator, which automatically adjusts the level of input charge to compensate for changing weather conditions without user intervention.
